Laci McCrea grew up in the thick of Salt Lake City Mormon culture. She thrived in the sense of spirituality and community until 18 years old when she came out as a lesbian. From that point on she’s been a rebel going against the grain of popular belief around modesty, politics, and materialism. She’s a minimalist in her lifestyle and her artistic style. Her acrylic paint color pallet is simple. Blue, magenta, yellow and white are all she needs to create all the colors.
